Today, NWA Mid South names Alvin Minnick the Chairman of the Championship Committee. Alvin was selected by the group of investors that own NWA Mid South. Alvin is long time promoter in this area and even owned the original NWA Mid South. We look forward to see what Mr. Minnick has in store with the NWA. Congratulations Alvin!
NWA Houston star and ROH tag team partner in WAR MACHINE has been in a serious motorcycle accident. The announcement was made on the official ROH website: We have just received word that current ROH star, one half of the tag team War Machine, RAYMOND ROWE was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. His injuries include severe bruising, lacerations. He also sustained a broken arm that will require surgery and rehabilitation. We at Rowe's ROH family - wrestlers and fans - are incredibly grateful he will make a full recovery. Unfortunately, Rowe will be out of action indefinitely while he rehabilitates. One of the hardest things to deal with when you are a life long wrestling fan who becomes a professional wrestler is some of the disappointment you encounter when meeting your childhood heroes. Some of your idols won’t just let you down on a professional level but on a personal level as well. You will meet men that you once thought walked on water only to realize that they can’t even stand on their own two feet. Men that you wouldn’t want your kids to grow up and become but this story isn’t about any of those men.
